Through technological introduction and self-reliance research and development, Dongfang Turbine has mastered technologies for complete sets of wind power units of different types such as strong wind, weak wind, normal temperature and low temperature applications and saline resisting types, with the design, manufacture, whole unit assembling and commissioning capability for main components of wind power generators, producing over 2000 wind turbines annually. Among them, batch production has been realized for 1MW, 1.5MW, 2MW and 2.5MW wind power turbines, the 3.0MW double-fed wind turbine with full proprietary intellectual property rights successfully completed its assembly in Nov. 2011, laying a solid foundation for Dongfang Turbine to develop and manufacture bigger and more advanced land and off-shore wind turbines.
